Plow it back to the middle.
For more than fifty years, Wausau pushed the boulevard snow to the center, where there is room for a whole winter of it. In 2024 that changed without notice or opportunity for citizen input. Now it gets unnecessarily packed into our driveways, and our older neighbors can neither clear it nor see past it to back out. This is a serious safety issue.

A reasonable ask, from nearly every house on the street
- 1
Plow to the center again
Send the snow to the wide grassy median, the practice the city used for 50+ years.
- 2
Avoid the tremendous added expense of clearing the city sidewalk
The public sidewalk down the median must be kept clear under city code. Plow the snow to the sides, and the city has to clear that hillside walk separately after every snowfall, work it already pays contractors to do on an overstretched budget. Plow to the center, where the snow has always gone, and that expense disappears. Net-net, plowing to the middle saves money.

Show up on August 13
The Infrastructure & Facilities Committee decides. A full room of engaged voting neighbors could change the outcome.
