Community potluck, then we walk to the meeting
Bring a dish and a neighbor. We share a meal, strengthen the ties that hold this effort together, and walk over to City Hall together to be heard.
- This is the one that counts. The Infrastructure & Facilities Committee is set to take up the snow-plowing decision at this meeting.
- Potluck: 3:30 p.m. · First Universalist Unitarian Church, 504 Grant Street, Wausau (diagonally across from City Hall).
- Meeting: 5:00 p.m. · Wausau City Hall, 407 Grant Street, Council Chambers · Infrastructure & Facilities Committee. We walk over together at 4:45.
- Speak: plan a short public comment, up to three minutes. As many of us as want to may take a turn.
- Bring: a dish to share (see the by-the-alphabet plan below), and a neighbor.
Read the agenda, or comment online
You can read the committee’s agenda and the minutes of past meetings, and submit a written comment online, on the city’s meeting portal: the Infrastructure & Facilities Committee meeting page. The committee meets monthly at 5:00 p.m. on the second Thursday in Council Chambers, and each agenda is posted a few days ahead. A written comment is a great way to be on the record even if you cannot attend or if public comment is limited.
What to bring: a by-the-alphabet potluck
So we end up with a real spread, here is a loose plan by last name. Please do not stress about it. Bring what you love; this just helps it all balance out.
